Sterk Span Athletics Club
The Athletics Club was registered in 2020.
One of our main reasons for starting the club is to provide runners with quality coaching, advice and group training sessions at an affordable fee. Very few recreational running clubs in South Africa offer professional coaching to their members.
Our aim is to provide an opportunity for amateur club runners to have access to a professional coaching infrastructure in order to help them achieve their goals – be it a Comrades Gold, sub 40 or 60 min 10km, a comfortable marathon qualifier or a Park Run PB.

Our Membership Fee for 2024 is
R350 per year for Seniors
R250 per year for Juniors
This includes your ASA license fee & our admin fee!

Additional run coaching options:

Full run coaching program, with personalised data analysis and training program with your goals & races incorporated @ R720 per month.

Social Membership, with access to all group training sessions, but no training program @ R350 per month.
